TN50, as the successor to Vision 2020, is expected to turn Malaysia into a model state for the rest of the world by 2050. Malaysia has also adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and subscribes to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Are there conflicting aims between TN50 and Agenda 2030? What are the critical policy instruments, institutional arrangements and delivery mechanisms needed?
